What is a BBA course in hospitality and tourism?

Eligibility

  • The 10+2 level of education or any equivalent qualification in any stream from a recognised board is the minimum requirement to apply for a BBA in Hospitality & Tourism.
  • The candidate must have an overall score of 50% or above in class 12.
  • Students awaiting their class 12 results are also welcome to apply as long as their admission will be on a provisional basis.
  • Students from any stream can apply for the course with at least 40-50% overall marks.
  • There is a relaxation in the qualifying aggregate score for the reserved categories that may vary from institution to institution.

Admission Process for BBA in Hospitality & Tourism

The basic application process for both merit and entrance-based admissions is as follows:

  1. The candidate is required to register for admission on the specified dates by providing the e-mail id and phone number.
  2. Once the candidate gets successfully registered, they need to fill out the application form for the course, which will include their personal, academic, and other details.

  • Also carried at the national level
  • It is conducted in offline mode for three hours

      3. Christ University Entrance Test (CUET)

  • Christ University Entrance Test (CUET) is conducted by Christ University
  • It is conducted online for two hours

       4. Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE)

  • It is conducted by Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU)
  • A state-level entrance examination
  • The paper is conducted every year in offline mode for two hours.

       5. Uttarakhand State Entrance Examination (UKSEE)

  • It is conducted by Uttarakhand Technical University.
  • It is a state-level entrance examination conducted once a year
  • The exam is executed in offline mode for 2 hours

       6. Panjab University Tourism & Hospitality Aptitude Test

  • It is conducted by Panjab University.
  • A university-level entrance examination
  • The exam is executed in offline mode for 90 minutes.

       7. Indraprastha University Common Entrance Test (IPU CET)

  • It is regulated by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University.
  • It is again a university-level entrance examination executed in an online mode.
  • The question paper consists of multiple-choice questions.
